Subcommittee for e-learning and library (e-Lib) of the Faculty of Dental Sciences is taking care of smooth functioning of the dental library and e- learning activities in the faculty. The faculty has decided to use “e-learning based teaching” as an adjunct to existing teaching curriculum. Basically, we aim to encourage use of computer-based teaching and learning among students and staff by promoting computer skills among students and staff and increasing awareness of e-learning resources for dentistry. Presently these courses are neing conducted at the University Computer Centre.
It is expected to improve the infrastructure facilities of the E-Learning Room adjoining the faculty library using the HETC project funds. A comprehensive report was included in this project.
