About us

The Computer Engineering stream was introduced to the Faculty of Engineering in year 2000 as a separate discipline and thus the Peradeniya Electrical and Electronic Engineering Students society (PEEES) was renamed as Computer, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Students society (CEEES). But there was no distinct organization for computer engineering students to handle their own issues and problems, thus in August 2001 the Association of Computer Engineering Students (ACES) was established as the la; student society in the Faculty of Engineering. According to the constitution we are also deemed to be members of CEEES.
