Peradeniya University Research Sessions
The Annual Research Sessions of the University of Peradeniya is one of the key events of the academic calendar of the University. This occasion provides the only forum at which researchers of all eight faculties can present their research findings at the same venue which allows for cross fertilization of ideas across the Faculty divide.
It is an ideal opportunity for academic staff to interact constructively with each other and with researchers from other Institutions. Our hope is that all academics will take the opportunity to not only listen to what is presented in their own discipline but also make use of this event to 'dip' into other disciplines. We hope for increased inter and intra faculty collaborative research as a result. Fresh ideas and new ways at looking at problems could also emerge.
