  • Prof G.P. Wannigama was awarded a Doctor of Science (D.Sc) Degree at the recently conducted convocation.

 

 

  • The winner of the Sultanbawa prize for the best performance in organic chemistry for the year 2006/2007: Mr. K.A.C.I.B senevirathne.

 

  • The winner of the B.F Khan Gold Medal for chemistry for the year 2006/2007: Miss C.N Welgama.

 

  • Prof. N.L.V.V. Karunaratne was the recipient of the GRC award for 2006 from the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science.

 

  • Prof O. A. Ileperuma was awarded the CVCD excellence award for the Most Outstanding researcher in Physical Sciences for the year 2006.
