The staff of the Geology department conduct graduate programs collaboration with the Postgraduate Institute of Science (PGIS) which provides several curriculum that are relevant to today’s career prospects. Students will benefit from strong research programs, an advance infrastructure, and a full program of convenient weekend courses. The PGIS offers following courses in collaboration with the Department of Geology.
The department also offers postgraduate research programmes leading to the Degrees of Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.)and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) which involves coursework and research in selected areas of study. Financial assistance for such programs also available through research grants. Detail of admission requirements, examination procedures can be viewed in the PGIS web site.
