To be the National Centre of Excellence in producing veterinarians who could enhance the quality of life of pet, wildlife and captive animals and to bring solace and hapiness to owners and care takers of such animals, in keeping abreast with similar academic institutions in the Asian region.
Mission
To educate undergraduates and postgraduates on health care and management practices of pet, wild and captive/zoo animals by teaching, develop professional skills on technical / practical aspects, communication through interacting with clients, clinical record keeping, and decision making, in order to produce a competent veterinarian and scientist of high calibre who would strive to improve quality of life and welfare of animals.
