Ten Bhutanese students got enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya on 02.12.2024 to pursue MBBS degree programme. All of them are top ranked in the university entrance examinations in Bhutan and have been sent here on the memorandum of understanding between the Royal Government of Bhutan and the University of Peradeniya. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the MOU signed between the Royal Kingdom of Bhutan and the University of Peradeniya. Students were welcomed by the Dean and staff of the Faculty and were offered a welcome lunch at the Peradeniya Rest House on the same day. Students said they are truly excited to join the MBBS programme and glad that they were selected to University of Peradeniya.
