Launching the website of the Centre for Environmental Sustainability (CES)

The Centre for Environmental Sustainability (CES) of the University of Peradeniya has been rendering interdisciplinary environmental related training, consultancy and research programs since its established in 1992. Remarking its 32 years, the CES launched its new user-friendly  website on April 19, 2023, by the Vice Chancellor Prof. MD. Lamawansa, accompanied by the Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. WM. Terrance Madhujith, Director/CES Prof. Tilak Hewawasam, and Deputy Director Research & Environmental Management/CES Dr. Nalin Suranjith.

Parallel to this session, the CES has launched its 3rd International Conference of the Centre for Environmental Sustainability (ICCES 2023).

The event was successfully conducted with the participation of members of the Board of Management, the faculty-level Environmental Committee, the university webmaster Mr. Uthumansa Ahamed, and the staff of the CES.
