As a part of an international collaborative research project on “Novel Nano-structures for performance enhancement of low-cost solar cells”, a delegation of leading research professors from Sweden, India, and Nigeria visited the University of Peradeniya on the 04th of October 2023. The visit of Delegates is arranged as part of a research collaboration with Prof. Lakshman Dissanayake (NIFS) and Prof. Wijendra Bandara (Department of Physics). A meeting with the Vice-chancellor was held in the vice-chancellor’s Office, at the University of Peradeniya, with the objective of discussing the research collaboration works.

This meeting served as a crucial platform for strengthening international research collaborations and fostering academic partnerships among the participating institutions.
