A delegation from Ma’anshan Teachers’ College, China, led by Deputy Mayor Kan Qinghe, met with Prof. Sanath Rajapakshe, Acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya, on 19th September 2025. The purpose of the visit was to explore an international exchange programme and establish long-term cooperation with the Department of Education, Faculty of Arts. The discussions were attended by Dr. Prabath Ekanayake, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Sakunthala Yatigammana, Acting Head, Prof. Prasad Sethunga, Prof. Pushpa Vitharana, and Mr. Theekshana Athukorala from the Department of Education, marking a significant step toward strengthening international academic exchange and collaborative research.
