The Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya successfully conducted the inauguration ceremony for welcoming its 2024/2025 intake on February 10, 2025 at the Faculty Auditorium. The event was a resounding success, setting a vibrant tone for the academic journey of the incoming students.
The ceremony was graced by Prof. Ranjith Pallegama, Acting Vice-Chancellor who served as the Chief Guest. Newly enrolled students, along with their parents, joined the occasion, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter in their academic lives. Prof. Ravi Kuruppuge, Dean of the Faculty of Management, Deans from the other eight faculties, academic staff, administrative staff, and other distinguished officials of the University of Peradeniya participated in the event, adding to its significance.

Prof. Terrance Madhujith, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya who joined the event virtually from the USA, delivered an impactful message of inspiration. His speech reinforced the importance of balancing academic rigor with the development of practical skills, encouraging students to embrace the challenges and opportunities of university life.
