Delegates from Kursk State Medical University, Russia have visited University of Peradeniya on 03rd of May 2023. The visit was scheduled with a meeting and the faculty visits for the Faculty of Medicine were made at the University of Peradeniya.
The delegates from the Kursk State Medical University have participated in the meeting that was held at the Vice chancellor’s office. The meeting was initiated by the acting Vice chancellor Prof. WM. Terrence Madhujith, made an introduction about the history and the courses that conducting in faculties, and the other staff members that participated has explained about the collaboration opportunities form both sides. Prof. Udaya has mentioned the procedures that been activated in the faculty. The delegates from the Kursk State Medical University also discussed the history, achievements, resources and courses that undergoing on their university.
Delegates from the Kursk State Medical University, Russia, Prof. Viktor Anatolyevich Lazarenko, Rector, Assoc. Prof. Mohomod Toufic Chahine, Director of International Medical Institute have participated in the event.
Prof. WM. Terrence Madhujith, Acting Vice-Chancellor, University of Peradeniya, Prof. Udaya Ralapanawa, Representative of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Prof. CNRA. Alles, Director of International Relations Office (InRO) and Acting Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Keerthie Dissanayake from the Medical Faculty and the staff members of InRO of the University of Peradeniya, participated in the event.
