The Faculty of Agriculture launched a Media Incubator Space to promote development communication on 10th November 2022 with the participation of Prof. MD. Lamawanse, Vice Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya, Mr. Nicolas Gerad, Delegation of the European Union to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Prof. Sarath S. Kodithuwakku, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ms. Subhashi Dissanayake, Country Director of HELVETAS- Sri Lanka and Mr. Azad Mustafa, The Director of Sri Lanka Development Journalists Forum.
This Media Incubator Space was designed and furnished under the InSPIRE Project of the Helvetas- Sri Lanka, which was funded by the European Union in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, as part of their MOU with the Department of Agricultural Extension, Faculty of Agriculture. The Media Incubator Space is dedicated to promoting creative expression, development communication, freedom of expression, and innovation among undergraduates.
