The event “Motivational and Personal Skill Development Program” was organized as part of the student welfare and skill development workshop series to help students balance work and personal life. The event took place on 14th December 2022 at the Theatre Prof EOE Pereira of the Faculty of Engineering with the participation of 250 students. The guest talk was delivered by Dr. Chamara De Zoysa, an Embryological Scientist, Business Consultant, Corporate Trainer, and Lecturer. He shared his expertise and experiences on skill market, recruitment interviews and work life balance as a consultant who has worked with many organizations from different sectors in the labour market such as Banking, FMCG, Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing.
This is the first physical workshop organized by the students of the Faculty of Engineering after the pandemic with the support of Industry for Engineering (EFI), IESL Students’ Chapter, Engineering Students’ Union, Engineering Faculty Welfare and Support Committee and many other student societies of the faculty.
