The Nutrition Society of Sri Lanka [NSSL] Holds its’ Annual Sessions in Kandy

The Nutrition Society of Sri Lanka held its’ Annual General Meeting and Scientific Sessions on January 28th¬†and 29that Oak Ray Regency, Kandy with the participation of the council members, members of the society, Medical Officers, Nutritionists, Dieticians, University Academics, students and other interested individuals.¬†¬†Professor Upul B. Dissanayake graced the inaugural¬†¬†session as the Chief Guest. Dr. Rukshana Haider,¬†¬†Foundation¬†¬†Chair, Civil Society Alliance for Scaling Up Nutrition, Bangladesh delivered the keynote speech while Professor C.C. De Silva memorial oration was delivered by Dr. Pujith Wickramasinghe,¬†¬†Professor in Pediatrics, University of Colombo. This is the first time in the recent history that the society held its’ Annual Sessions outside of Colombo.
