Security Department

The Security department is a old department among the university of Peradeniya. Service departments and it is the only department that operates day and night. The Security of all movable and immovable properties is provided by the University Security Service. The Security comprising a Chief Security officer, Deputy Chief Security officer, Security Inspectors, Security Guards and Female Security Guards. This department currently consists of Chief Security Officer, Deputy Chief Security Officer, 10 Security Inspectors, One Lady Security Inspector, 86 Security Guards and 04 Ladies Security Guards which is not adequate enough. Therefore The Department has obtained the Service of The Private Sector.
