The Best Performing Employees were Recognized

Twenty seven best performing university employees were rewarded on January 2nd at a ceremony organized by the university. Twenty seven employees were selected among 150 applicants belonging to three categories. This is the first time in the recent history that best performing non-academic & non-executive employees were recognized by the university. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor MD. Lamawansa, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Terrence Madhujith, Acting Registrar, Mr Mahinda Ekanayake, Bursar, Mr. Nissanka Arampath, Deans of Faculties, Directors of University Centers, the Deputy Registrar-Non Academic Establishment, Ms. Thushari Amarasena, few other University officials, awardees and Managers of the Peradeniya Branch of Bank of Ceylon and Peoples Bank were present. Furthermore, the non-academics who have successfully completed ICT program conducted by the University Information Technology Center also received certificates at this occasion.
