The Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania is a partner university of the Erasmus+ CBHE project “Developing Inclusive Education for Students With Disabilities (SWDs) in Sri Lankan Universities (IncEdu)”. A team of three members, Prof. Carmen Buzea, Prof. Arabela Briciu, and Prof. Victor Briciu from the Transilvania University visited University of Peradeniya on March 14th ,2023 to obtain an assessment of the progress of the IncEdu project activities as they are responsible for the project quality planning and assurance. The three Professors paid a visit to the faculty’s newly renovated Special Needs Resource Centre and had discussions with some academic and non-academic staff members involved in teaching the SWDs to evaluate the progress of the project and achieve the objective of their visit.
Prof. Carmen Buzea, who is also the Vice-Rector for Research & IT, Transilvania University of Brasov and the team met and discussed about future collaborations with the Dean and members of the Faculty of Arts, Head and members of the Department of Sociology, Director of the Postgraduate Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Vice-chancellor of the University of Peradeniya.
