It is with great pleasure that the University of Peradeniya released the newest issue of the Ceylon Journal of Science, which features a diverse and rich collection of 26 articles, comprising 2 Short Communications, 4 Mini Reviews, 16 Research Articles, 3 Review Articles, and 1 Case Study. These contributions span a wide range of scientific disciplines, showcasing the breadth and depth of current research, and offering valuable insights that contribute meaningfully to the advancement of science and knowledge both locally and globally.
This issue also includes an important Editorial titled “Snakebite Prevention: A Call for Comprehensive Context-Specific Solutions”, authored by Mr. Asela Wijayasekera and Prof. Anjana Silva. The article addresses a critically important and timely public health concern, highlighting the need for sustainable, community-driven strategies and policy interventions tailored to affected regions.
