Undergraduate  Programs

Management

The Faculty of Management absorbs students from various avenues for different undergraduate degree programmes. The University Grant Commission (UGC) sends students directly to the Faculty for Bachelor of Business Administration Honours (BBA) Degree Programme from the G.C.E. A/L Commerce stream students. This honours degree programme is being offered since 2008/09 academic year and consists of five areas of specialization namely:

BBA (Hons.) in Accounting & Finance

BBA (Hons.) in Human Resource Management

BBA (Hons.) in Marketing Management

BBA (Hons.) in Operations Management

BBA (Hons.) in Organizational Management

In the meantime, students for the B.Com degree are absorbed from the Faculty of Arts after they spent one year at the Faculty of Arts. In addition, the Faculty caters to students following Bachelor of Science in Computation & Management which is a joint degree programme conducted in collaboration with the Faculty of Science. In addition to the internal degree programmes, the Faculty offers the BBA (Online) degree program which is the only online degree awarded by the University of Peradeniya and the Diploma in Management & Development programme through the Centre for Distance & Continuing Education (CDCE) of the University of Peradeniya.
