We are thrilled to share the wonderful moments captured during the “Up Your Skills” program, a transformative journey towards developing essential soft skills and core values for our talented 1st-year undergraduates at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences.
Organized by the Career Guidance Unit, University of Peradeniya , this interactive outdoor workshop took place on 19th July 2023, providing students with a unique opportunity to enhance their abilities and set a solid foundation for their transition from school to University.
From team-building activities to value development initiatives, students were fully engaged in the learning process, fostering effective communication, empathy, and leadership qualities. The picturesque surroundings of our University provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with fun, learning, and personal growth.
As you can see from the photos, the atmosphere was buzzing with enthusiasm and a passion for continuous improvement. We are immensely proud of our students for embracing this opportunity and taking a step toward becoming well-rounded professionals in the world of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences.
