ANNUAL GENERAL CONVOCATION â 2023
General Convocation 2023 of the University of Peradeniya is rescheduled to be held on 21st and 22nd August 2024 at the Gymnasium of the university.
Convocation tickets, passes for parents/ guardians, car passes, cloaks and garlands will be issued to graduands from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. from 15th to 20th August 2024 from their respective Faculty or Institute. Ph.D. graduands can collect their cloaks, garlands and documents from the Student Registration Division.

The 85th Annual General convocation
The 85th General Convocation of the University of Peradeniya took place successfully on August 21st and 22nd, 2024, at the university gymnasium. This year, six distinguished individuals were honored with honorary degrees. The ceremony also celebrated the achievements of 1,074 postgraduates and 2,710 first-degree graduates. Graduates, their families, and friends, along with the University’s faculty and staff, came together to mark this significant occasion.
We wish all the graduates the very best as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
